AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO OUR CALLERS
A few reassuring facts about Shawna's, and why:

-- no mailing, no connection fees, no machines
This is easy - no one likes junk mail, padded charges or yelling into machines that "cannot understand your request". So we don't do any of them.

-- the girl calls you back direct, so nothing appears on your phone bill.
Some services lure men in by advertising gimmicks such as "dollarlines". "A dollar a minute phone sex!". Sounds pretty cheap... and it is, until you get your bill (of course, there may be legitimate ones, but if so, none of our Sex Kittens have had the pleasure of working for them). What likely will appear on you bill is the dollar a minute... AND connection fees (of say, $5), and then - on a totally different bill, your PHONE bill - you'll see collect charges. Granted, when you're worked up, and she's sounding hot, and everything is well in hand (hehe), you're probably not going to be thinking about the phone bill (which is probably the very idea behind this method).
So, a dollar a minute, a connection fee, and the collect charges.
Collect charges alone could run $20 for ten minutes!
So, for a ten minute call... collect charges, base charges & connection fees could total nearly 40 bucks!

-- When you call us, you're calling a toll-free number, 1-888-258-7877 PLEASE READ: Gabrielle was surfing around the web, when she came across a link site with a phone sex number emblazoned upon the top of every page. The tag was something like this: "Free Phone Sex! Only Long Distance Charges Apply! Call 664-410-xxxx!"
Being the saavy phone sex chick who has dialed many a long distance number, she found it odd that she didn't recognize the area code (but with new area codes going up all the time, who would know?). So, she did a search.
The search had results....
We're not for certain how much it would cost to call the country Montserrat (located in the West Indies), but it would probably be much more than you intended paying!
What supposedly happens is this: you dial a number, like the one to the Montserrat exchange, thinking you'll be paying 5 - 10 cents per minute... you'll most likely get routed to a recording, or placed on hold, where you will remain until you get frustrated and hang up. What's actually happening is that you're calling a non-US 900-like number. They can charge (we've heard) whatever they like -- sometimes $1,000 per minute! Similar scams have been reported REPEATEDLY, with some people having charges of over $2,000 on their phone bill.
BUT -- because the number is not regulated by the United States, you will not be able to rebuke the charges. In all estimation, your phone company will NOT be able to help you rebuke charges.
This is not propoganda to make our service look better. If you go to AltaVista.com (one of the most-used search engines), you can see for yourself. Question:"Why did Shawna's go from a flat rate for 30 min, to per minute billing?"
Answer: Because flat rate billing isn't economical
for all callers.
Prior to switching to a per minute rate, if a caller only
took 16 minutes, he would be charged for 30 minutes. With
our per minute billing rounded to the nearest five minute
incriment, he is only billed for 15 minutes now.

Question:"A lot of other services send mailings, why don't you?"
Answer: Sending unauthorized mail to callers is just
poor form. We promise discretion, and uphold that
completely. However,at a caller's request, our Kittens can
email them back, or instant message with them. We're a
personable company, and see no problem with the Kittens
and callers having friendly conversation outside of the
sessions. The Sex Kittens do not ask for this
information unless it is offered by the caller.

Question:"Do the girls really call from their homes?"
Answer: Yes, they do. Our practices remain as they
were in the beginning.
There are no cubicle-ladden offices stocked with chicks.
Also, the concensus among the Sex Kittens is that the bed
is the most comfortable place to call from :)

Question: "I heard that services have like,
a list of character descriptions and when someone calls,
the girls take on one of the descriptions.
Is this true?"
Answer: Actually, there are services that
function that way.
Thank goodness we're not one of them!
For instance, Gabrielle cannot even find her shoes
in the morning, let alone keep track of a list of
descriptions! But seriously, at Shawna's, Caitlyn is
Caitlyn, Faith is Faith, and so on. There are no
"lists of characters" nor pre-set facades.
What you see, is indeed, what you get.

Question: "Can I meet any of the Sex Kittens?"
Answer: This is a popular question, and the answer is...
No. This is not a dating line. The purpose of Shawna's Sex
Kittens is to give callers the opprotunity to delve into
their deepest fantasies with someone -- and have an
enriching experience in the process. Fortunately, this
isn't a stressful issue often, as our callers genuinely
appreciate the Ladies here, and want them to be kept
as safe as possible, and meeting with strangers
sadly, would not be safe practice. However, this does mean
that we do not run some sort of scamming line, where the
Sex Kittens are "instructed" to fein being smitten with
someone -- for the sole purpose of getting them to drain
their wallet with lovelorn callings. That scenario is
unfortunately, one of the most tasteless practices
I hear of many services doing.

Question: "If I want to send one of the Kittens a tip,
can I? And does the Kitten actually get the tip?"
Answer: And that would be one of Jaimie's pet peeves.
Jaimie, as one of the top requested Sex Kittens, was also
a top requested girl at a previous service. A couple of the
callers asked if she enjoyed spending her tips.... which,
she didn't. Couldn't, really, since she never saw them.
When she pressed the issue with the service, they finally
sent her the "tip"... or at least, around 20% of it.
Two years later, she is still fuming over it.
At Shawna's, however, tips are graciously accepted --
and every cent goes to the Sex Kitten who
it was intended for.

In the comment field, write "TIP", and who it is for.
However, tips may be made with credit cards
and personal check also.

Question: "Do the Sex Kittens really enjoy what they're doing?"
Answer: Our status quo is such that only the most
articulate, intelligent, and creative ladies do
conversations for Shawna's.
Because of this, the Sex Kittens have a multitude of
talents. From writers, artists, a graphic designer to
business women, a singer and a couple activists (that
includes you, Raina) --
our Kittens are certainly not doing phone fantasy for a
lack of job opprotunity otherwise. They do it, because
truly, they very much enjoy it. If they didn't enjoy
it, they would most certainly be doing other
things with their talents.
